As my name implies, I offer transcription from audio or video recordings to text. I can send you back a raw, word-for-word version of your file, or we can work together to edit and format your project into a polished product, ready to distribute or publish.
Accurate Transcription
I turn digital recordings into words in print. You can call in to my private dictation line from any telephone, or you can email me audio files from your own digital recorder. I have experience transcribing interviews, examinations, lectures, articles, letters, reports, and notes in a variety of fields. I produce word-for-word transcriptions, spell-checked and properly punctuated, formatted to a template you provide or to my own standard layout.
From there, you can take my rough draft and edit and polish it yourself, or we can work together to produce a final document that meets your high standards.
Secretarial Assistance
Often, producing the document is not the end of the story. Once the transcription is complete and approved, you may need additional services to finish the process. I can print your reports, letters, and invoices on your letterhead, print envelopes, and mail, ship, or fax your finished product on your behalf.
One-Time Projects or Ongoing Services
I am available for individual projects such as a book or academic paper if that's all you need. I also work with many long-term clients who call in with monthly, weekly, or even daily dictations.
Personalized Attention
Every client's work is unique. You deserve personalized attention to create the document or project that reflects your effort and style. This is not a one-size-fits-all transcription service. Your work will always be transcribed by the same person according to your timeline, using your particular template or design.
If you have questions, you can call or email me and receive a prompt response. Since I work with you directly, I become familiar with your specific parameters, your voice and dictation style, and your templates. This familiarity results in a polished, formatted draft that can go directly into the editing process or even be finalized and mailed immediately.
Medical-Legal Transcription
I have transcribed thousands of QME reports. I specialize in psychiatric, psychological, and neuropsychological examination reports and am very familiar with the unique format and terminology required for these documents. We can work from my standardized report template, or I can adapt to your favored format. In addition to transcribing from your dictation, I offer editing and proofreading services, and I will even finalize, print, and submit your reports to the various parties if you want.

Verbatim Transcripts
Having an accurate transcript is vital for anyone conducting interviews, whether you're an investigator conducting witness interviews, a journalist interviewing a subject, or a researcher doing field work. Turning conversational speech into usable text provides a written record of what was said and gives you a searchable and quotable text source to use as needed.

A report isn't finished when I've transformed your audio into text. I can provide additional editing and proofreading services in order to produce a polished, professional document. My spelling and grammar are impeccable, and I can help you with formatting and layout as well. The quality of your finished product is as important to me as it is to you.
